Terms of Service

By accessing or using FootParty at footscape.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

FootParty is a free, no-account-required web application that lets users create and join football watch party rooms. Features include live score tracking, score predictions, football bingo, half-time quizzes, in-room chat and live reactions. The Service is provided "as is" for entertainment purposes.

You must be at least 13 years old to use FootParty. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.

When using FootParty you agree to:
— Choose a nickname that is not offensive, hateful or impersonating another person
— Not use the chat feature to post abusive, threatening, discriminatory or illegal content
— Not attempt to disrupt the Service, other users' sessions, or the underlying infrastructure
— Not use automated tools, bots or scripts to interact with the Service
— Not attempt to access rooms you have not been invited to

Room hosts may remove participants who violate these rules. We reserve the right to terminate access for anyone who abuses the Service.

If you create a watch party room, you act as the host. As host you are responsible for:
— Managing participants in your room (including removing disruptive users)
— Setting quiz questions with accurate answers
— Ending the room when the session is complete

We do not monitor individual rooms. Hosts are expected to maintain a respectful environment.

The FootParty name, logo, design and code are the property of FootParty and its creators. Match data displayed in the Service is sourced from publicly available third-party APIs and remains the property of the respective data providers and football organisations. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from the Service without written permission.

Football scores, fixtures and event data are provided by third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. FootParty does not guarantee the accuracy or timeliness of match data. The Service should not be relied upon for betting, gambling or any purpose requiring precise real-time data.

FootParty is an entertainment platform. The predictions, quizzes and bingo features are for fun among friends only. No real money, prizes or stakes of monetary value are involved. You must not use FootParty to facilitate gambling or wagering of any kind.

We aim to keep FootParty available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, server issues, third-party API outages or events beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss arising from downtime.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FootParty and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of enjoyment or reliance on match data accuracy. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service, which is zero as FootParty is free.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure or available at all times.

FootParty uses third-party services including sports data APIs and hosting providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or policies of these services. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these providers.

We may suspend or terminate your access to FootParty at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. All room data is deleted when a room ends. We have no obligation to maintain or provide access to any past room data.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Goa, India.
