What we collect

• Your Google account basics. When you sign in, Google gives us your name, email address and profile picture URL. That is the entire scope we request — we cannot read your Gmail, Drive, Calendar or contacts, and we never ask to.
• Your predictions. The scorelines you call, the points they earn, and your running season total.
• A session cookie. Needed to keep you signed in. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

What we never collect

No payment details, because nothing here costs money. No date of birth, address or phone number. No location data. No advertising identifiers. We do not use analytics or third-party tracking of any kind.

Where it lives

On a private server we operate ourselves, in a database used only by this app. Generated receipt images are stored on that same server's disk. Nothing is sent to a third-party analytics, storage or advertising service.

Who else sees it

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with anyone. Two outside services are involved in running the app: Google, which handles sign-in, and football-data.org, which supplies fixtures and results. We only ever request football data from them — no information about you is sent there.

Shared receipts

A receipt shows your display name, your predictions and your points. Anyone holding a receipt's link can view that receipt — that is what makes sharing work. A receipt never contains your email address or any other account detail. If you would rather not be identifiable on one, you can change your display name, though receipts already generated keep the name they were printed with.

Leaderboards

Each gameweek has a leaderboard, visible to anyone signed in to Called It. If you make a prediction, your display name, points, and how many results you called correctly appear on it. Your email address never does.

You can turn this off on your account page. Your predictions are still scored and you still get your receipts — you simply are not listed.

Deleting your data

Email us and we will delete your account, your predictions and your receipts entirely. You can also revoke this app's access at any time from your Google Account under Security → Third-party apps, which stops any further sign-in.
